“Juan and Andrés were outstanding! Our group consisted of 6 adults and 2 children. The van was clean, comfortable, air conditioned. We visited Coyoacan, UNAM, and Estadio Azteca on our way to Xochimilco. We spent several hours in the van. Juan spoke both Spanish and English. He joked about knowing only 40 words in English but he spoke it fluently. Both Juan and Andres were great. Their patience, knowledge, professionalism, charisma, was more than outstanding. They are one of the best guides we’ve ever experienced. We had an amazing time!”

Guides such as Gaby, Gabriel, Arturo, and Iván explain the arena, wrestlers, masks, and crowd chants in English. Expect a walking evening with a maximum of 20 people.

“I'm hesitant to write a "bad" review, because the guide seemed like a nice enough guy. But, the tour wasn't a positive experience. First, the guide was late to the first stop and then he and the wait staff had to find enough chairs, get waters for everybody, etc. The group was stuck sitting in a storage/conference room twiddling our thumbs. Then the "mezcal tasting" was two small sips of mezcal. At this point the guide told us we were running late and had to hurry. We walked to a taqueria that he had apparently scheduled with to have room for our large group. But, we were late and the…”

“Tania and Juan Carlos were amazing guides and were knowledgeable about the neighborhoods we visited, the delicious tacos we ate and the lucha libre we enjoyed. One family in the tour group was late so Tania and Juan Carlos split up so that the late family could catch up, while the rest of us stayed on schedule. We stayed in Mexico City for 6 days and those were best tacos we had the entire trip. I would recommend this tour for first-time visitors and first time lucha libre spectators.”

All-inclusive upgrades add pulque, tacos, and a wrestler mask, while VIP includes ringside seats.

“With the number of tour options tied to Lucha Libre shows I am SO glad I decided on this one after much last-minute research. It meets earlier (5pm) than other ones despite the actual show not until 8:30pm but that factors in about 2 hours spent in Plaza Garibaldi home of all things mariachi.   Capacity was fitting at max 30 people, although my group that evening was 18. The tour is run bilingual which I found special. As one of only a handful of English-speakers that night, it was a fun experience to immerse within a group of Spanish-speaking attendees, and our guide (Adara) was fantastic with accommodating all…”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 25 reviews · 5 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $139

A guide such as Paki or Gabriela explains Mexican culture, arena customs, and lucha libre slang. Private transport, match tickets, snacks, and a souvenir are included.

“I am not sure how this tour has 5 star reviews. The vehicle she sent to pick us up kept breaking down causing us to be 30 min late. When we arrived she barely spoke to our group and the restaurant was not close to the event and not that good. When we headed to Lucha Libre she again didn't say a word and we had to ask her for information for the kids to understand more about the event. All in all I was disappointed and would not recommend.”
