Tokyo: Sumo Experience and Chanko Nabe Lunch
1.Sumo Experience and Chanko Nabe Lunch
Meet former professional sumo wrestlers in Asakusa on Mondays or Ryogoku on Thursdays. In English, they explain the sport’s rituals, training, and rules, then invite participants into the ring for a playful bout and photos. Finish with a hot chanko nabe lunch prepared by the wrestlers. The two-hour session is wheelchair accessible and limited to six participants.

“Absolutely amazing. I recommend everyone to try this. It was well organized and the sumo wrestlers were thorough with providing knowledge about the sport. They were entertaining and everyone got to interact with them. there was plenty of time for pictures also. It was so fun and well worth every penny we spent.”
